Ever Since.
Morning brought, once, once more, and again, the ache for purpose. It left, a glittery taste of the future, I chased it ever since. Noon brought, once, once more, and again, the creaking door swung slowly open, It left, a foul taste of growth, yet I didn't reach back. Nightfall came, once, once more, and again, the porcelain dropped to the floor and shattered, It left, an array of color, pain, and lust, and I chased it ever since.
