Enchanted Ruby

Fri, 08/18/2017 - 19:14 -- Danica

Once upon a time, there was the fairest maiden whose beauty matched the frosty snow

At the same time, the warmth of her heart matched her fiery red lips

Throughout the kingdom, everyone knew her innocent beauty would glow

Including the green-eyed queen who forced the maiden to serve her as she sips

In secret, the evil queen hired an assassin to eliminate her for her selfish glory

Little did Snow White know, this could be the last day where the sun embraces her

Surprisingly, the assassin wanted to warn the angelic beauty the day before it became gory

Snow White wasn’t surprised and calmly said, “Thank you, I will handle this sir.”

Instead of running away, she fearlessly searched the land to protect her life

On her journey, she gracefully walks through a forest filled with peace

Unexpectedly, she came across a handsome prince who desired her to be his wife

His romantic gestures were flattering but she questioned, “Isn’t this forest you would visit the least?”

The prince wanted to visit his seven friends and asked her the same

Snow White described her trouble, and the prince suggested her to come along with him

As soon she arrived at the seven little dwarfs cottage, they were all familiar of her royal fame

Then, the prince begged them for their help before it got dim

The seven little dwarfs told the prince they found an enchanted, apple-shaped ruby in the mine

They knew if the beholder didn’t have a sweet heart, the beholder will fall into eternal rest

Snow White and the prince asked them to lead them there before they ran out of time

In Snow White’s hands, the enchanted ruby glistened and she thanked them, “You are all the best!”

Before it became twilight, Snow White rushed back to the castle and served the queen

The evil queen was displeased that Snow White took her long to finish her chore

Snow White apologetically offered her the enchanted apple-shaped ruby, and the queen was quite keen

Once the evil queen held it in her hands, she fell into eternal rest with no gore
