In Eden or Gethsemane
We will have peace,
Whether we are in Eden,
Or Gethsemane.
For we will rise with the sun,
And we will eat sweet fruit,
From His vineyards.
We will go to the water,
And draw from the well,
That never runs dry.
We will all go home,
To break bread with our kinfolk,
In Our Father’s house.
We will be with Him,
While running down footpaths,
Worn by those before us.
Till then, we will go on.
We will have peace,
In Eden or Gethsemane.
We will find our rest,
In the strong arms of Our Father.
And we will sleep sound.
