Depression

Malicious malignant

Cancer of the soul,

It spreads its dark

and brooding mass

Slowly eating away

Sinks roots

Dark tendrils

Deep into unseen

depths

Slowly feeding on life force

It sits,

quietly,

patient

Calm of a killer,

A silk skinned lion stalking its

prey

Hidden

Watches all through dark gleaming

eyes,

Waiting

Then fangs dripping venom

It strikes

Slowly sucking light from eyes

Bright eyes dwindle to nothing,

Sunken.
