Decision

I'll explain, and I'll try not to weep as I speak.

But please listen, and don't ridicule me.

Things occur for a reason just like the transitions in every season.

The love I have for Him has sprouted up, and will not wilt.

Getting close is difficult, but why is it that I flee with some fear?

A day without you feels like a million years,

A day without you brings up a trillion tears.

But then you rescued me, loved me and kept me safe.

You became mine and I became yours.

There's never been a time that you failed me,

but I have indeed failed myself.

But all has changed, and now joy springs from within.

A decision I made raised me high above the clouds,

You're worth it, and I know you'll never let me down.
