Dear Stranger

Dear Stranger,

It has been a little over a year now since I first met you,

Since your own daughter first met you,

and the rest of your grandchildren too.

We don't blame you

you hadn't a clue

I'm just glad we met you.

You've made my mom happier than I've ever seen

You filled the hole in her heart she was missing

but now all that fills it is love and joy

that she finally met her begetter.

It was one in a million

just a chance

but alas she got a match.

Finding your birth father is quite a feat

meeting my grandpa, someone just like me

more in common than you would ever know

your presence has given more than you can endow

Love,

         Your newfound family
