Darkness

Fri, 10/13/2017 - 12:56 -- Kacia

He loomed from the depths of hell

He swam from the ends of the earth

He screams,

He dies,

He trails me,

He is darkness

He came so suddenly, he came so quickly

He creeped upon me without a sound

He grabbed me without warning

He is darkness, He is death

The darkness that lurks within me

It is no normal darkness

It is one of immense pain and hurt

I do not wish it to be apart of me,

I was born with it, it is within me

The darkness did not bloom because of pain,

But because of seclusion

I secluded myself from the love that was around me,

And I fell into a pit, a pit of abyss

A pit of darkness, a pit of depression.
