Dancing Crystals

Tue, 03/31/2015 - 23:13 -- tokii

The wind’s chilled breath scatters the frozen crystals

The excited specks swirl and spin haphazardly through the air

They dance around the dying thistles

And glide across the lapping stream, as close as they dare

At dawn they float down a lonely little lane

Till the flakes come to settle and rest on a child’s window pane
