Dad

Location

One cigarette at a time, your time fell short// A life in desperate need of support?? Too soon Grim came, too soon you left// Taken from me, a well planned theft// Six months have passed with out you here// My thoughts so fogged, when will they clear?//Days go by and Mom still cries// Tears never fall but parts of her die// You can tell in the way she talks, all of her long walks// Up cemetery cement, leaving her broken not just bent// What i will do without you still i question// tell me how is it up in heaven?// You'll be missing my graduation, my wedding, my life// I'll be missing you but holding on tight// Because of you, who taught me to fight// Fight for memories of all those days, even when I'm being pulled through the haze// Cancer takes many hearts// But for you Dad a new life starts.
