Cycle

Thu, 04/14/2016 - 11:53 -- Aramay

Last night I thought that the Moon had disappeared.

A clear sky with no Moon

When I knew it should be a quarter full

I'm still not sure where it went

But tonight it rose whole and spectacular and the world is right again.  I need the Moon to live like I need the Sun Running through its rhythm to remind  As much as the day is a cycle The month is also and time is long and even. I need the Moon like I need the Sun, Pushing and pulling the salty seas And my own iron tides  Reminding every night that I am part of the Earth. I need the Moon like I need the Sub Waxing and waning Ever changing  To remind that I have many skins left to shed That all which lives will die, decompose and grow again.
