The Curve

Location

Rushing down the black glass road

I knew she should have slowed

Zooming around the curve

She lost control

The tires screeched against the wet pavement

Swerving left than right

Whoosh we were in the air

Thud! The car came to a stop

I wake up all I hear is screaming

For a second I thought I was dreaming

Surely enough this was all surreal

But stepping on the road made it real

Stumbling to stand up, my friends run up

I do not feel anything except something dripping

Just standing there I realize its blood

The source still unknown I sit down and wait

And let the blood drip, drip, drip.
