bite the hand that feeds you
Outside your window
lies the hand that feeds you poison
now would be the reason
to bite the hand that feeds you
but you can’t know what you don’t know
angel exterior
but a monster inside
it dwells here
its nature’s to hide
feeding off the hungry and the ignorant
it knows you better than you really know yourself
fooled into believing you’re in heaven
when you’re really going through hell
you think the fire renews you
from the drowning you’ve been through
fire only burns
skin off the bones
strips you of your pride
and leaves you alone
