Biomedical Engineer
A work of science fiction:
To think the impossible, to build the improbable
From concept to certainty for the ill-fated
Possibilities farther than the galaxy stretches
Causing a bruised body with a strained soul
Price of blood for glory and sanity for art,
Restless nights for the sake of education
A higher education is valuable and vital
The University is wisdom:
Paid with wealth and sacrifice, rewarded with honor
Strength, support and belief from an abetting father,
Distant, exploitative mother with false hopes of benefits
Struggle as the moneyless in a material world
The broken family in desperate need of a future
And the pressure to succeed falls on strong shoulders
With confidence, drive, vigor, and will
Long term dreams become reality,
As hope restored for the sickly and fallen
Prosperity for the decaying family
Relief to a deserving, overworked dad.
To benefit my loving father is greater than that of millions
My work will change the concept of today
