Baseball is More Than a Game
Location
To me baseball is more than a game,
Day in and day out i spend my constant time.
With work and effort I will earn my fame,
I feel as though my loss would be a crime.
Nothing in life has ever felt so sweet,
Like when I quickly grab my hat,
Or feeling the cut grass beneath my feet.
The pitchers mound is like a welcome mat.
This makes the largest section of my life.
I'm out there all the time doing my work.
I might even consider this my wife.
Losing a simple game drvies me berserk.
One day I understand it will be done.
One day I will be thought of as number one.
