Awakening

1 The oracular orb of night

And the lucid silhouette of a beatific man.

2 The ethereal-like frame moving with incontrovertible finesse

And the unremittingly daunting celestial body bereft of any movement.

3 The illusory hum of an unruffled melody daintily escaping his tender lips as he dances

And the loud cacophony of a callous glow haphazardly cascading from her pallid satellite.

4 The oracular orb of night

And the lucid silhouette of a beatific man.

5 The untold autobiography of a fragile shadow spun with intricate skill

And the platitudinous chronicle of a once incandescent heavenly body now stale.

6 The entity of a man, a consummated master of dance, handsomely manifested in his final pirouette

And

7 The abstruse existence of a crescent, a connoisseur of secret, his only witness root to sprout.

8 The ballad, a savant of longevity which he sang and she listened, then recedes into daybreak,

Taking with it the lucid silhuoette of a man,

Hesitant is he to bare his endowment.

Taking with it the oracular orb of night,

Envious is she of his veiled potential.
