Anxiety of You

You tell me that I am the love of your life,

say that you've never loved anyone the way you love me,

laugh and call me adorable when I'm acting strange,

smile when you look at me from the driver's side,

But you always talk about the other girls.

You constantly talk about them,

as if you want to tell me secrets from past relationships,

want me to know not to do the things they did,

to remember why this time you'll do things right,

What does the tone of your voice mean when you reminisce?

You tease me when I pout; call me a brat,

wait till I beg before you give me a kiss,

don't touch me unless you feel the need,

tell me all my problems will disappear if I do what you think is best,

You did tell me you've cheated on every girl you've ever been with.

Would you cheat on me,

are you faithful,

I don't know,

but the anxieties in my head are killing me.
