All is Well

All's Well!

He was my father and I remember him for many things
But one thing that still echos in my ears was that golden line
He often used to utter - Do not worry all is well!
Do not worry all is well
Those six words worked as the most potent balm
for me, my inequities
Sending all my doubts, angst, fear and uncertainties into thin air
Its effect was pure magical like a manna from the heaven
The day he passed away the magic also disappeared with him
Though I too use these words often with my own children
I don't know if it works on them in the same way or not
Maybe I need to be as good with those words as my father was
But he is no more and I am clueless how can I make that possible
I wish I could have time - traveled to meet him for one last time
To unravel the mysteries and become the master of those magical words
And say it more convincingly to my children -Do not worry all is well!
