All I Want

Location

All I want is to learn how to teach

Not just learn to make to a living but to learn so others may learn from me.

I want to be someone children look up to not because of fame or fortune or infamy.

I want them to want to learn because I make it fun, interesting, and rewarding.

I want to show a child that reading a book is cool and putting the video game away is good.

I want to protect a child from the bullying and torture my fellow classmates once put me through.

I want to give an outcast child a chance in the spotlight because they are just as amazing as the popular kids.

I want to show parents that their children are intelligent and wonderful, no matter their IQ.

I want to give children a reason to come to school.

I want them to try

to learn

to work.

That's all I want.

Is that too much to ask for in this day and age when students are told by the media to be skinny and cool and dressed a certain way?

Maybe it is too much.

But that doesn't mean I can't still want it.

I will always want it.
