Orpheus & Eurydice
Orpheus & Eurydice
The two are tangled in the web
The web that we call love
The two walk by the riverbed
The bed that lies above
The two are bounded by the deal
The deal the devil makes
The two lock lips and form the seal
The seal of lover’s fates
The two have walked where angels trot
The angels of the dead
The two are lost and face distraught
The face of hurt and dread.
