The Kraken
The weight of the waves relentlessly presses down
Crash after crash, no air left in my lungs
Petrified, no energy to lunge
No other hope but to drown
But even the air of the deep
Have no control over me
I swim, kicking and screaming up to the fractured light
Because even in the bleak ocean’s might
I refuse to go down without a fight
My unchainable passion burns with the strength of the Kraken
The sharks repeatedly ramming against my ribs
Snatching my last breath
Tentacles entrapping my legs
Dragging me further into the depths
But even the creatures of the deep
Have no control over me
I swim, kicking and screaming up to the fractured light
Because even in the bleak ocean’s might
I refuse to go down without a fight
My unchainable passion burns with the strength of the Kraken
The water melts into the sand
The light just feet ahead
But even when I reach the ascent
My blazing heart beats on
For even in the calm, I still embody the passion of the Kraken
