when you look at me

our perspectives are completely divergent

because you see a girl

that laughs at the world

but behind the filters i'm  someone different

i hate who i am and i wanna be better

so i lie with a smile in the darkest of weather

it says i'm alright

and i'm strong through it all

but i'm always preparing for another fight when i fall

a fight in my head,

a fight in my heart,

it may not be physical

but it tears me apart

i say i hate the world and all the shit that comes with it

but that isn't true

i just hate me in it.
