I hear a crash,then you hug me tight.
I feel you there in the back of my mind.
So fragile and tiny; how do you still exist?
For days it seemed that you were gone.
The tears are salty and warm.They glide dlowly down my cheeks and across my lips.
What does it mean? To be happy, to feel like nothing can bring you down.
Loving hurts, in a wonderful aching kind of way.
Laughing hurts, but in the good bubbly type of way.
Crying hurts, but the tears wash some of the pain away.
Loving hurts, it leaves a hole in teh middle of my heart.
Warmth seeps through my body
as I climb up the steep surface of the mountain.
Ropes around my hands and paints on my face,
Mr. Keating sees the world with the soul of a poet,
he uses words to teach and heal.
He teaches his young charges
Trusting does not come easily to me.
