Mr. Keating sees the world with the soul of a poet,

he uses words to teach and heal.

He teaches his young charges 

with the rhythm of prose and words of poem.

Yes, Mr. Keating is but a character, in my favorite film,

he is played by the genius, Robin Williams.

Through this role Robin changed my life,

and it will never be the same again.

But that is fine with me, for he taught me how

to Seize the Day and let my "Barbaric Yawp"

sound across every rooftop.

And though he is gone, Robin will long be remembered

by the legacy he left and the lives he changed.

His words and ideas really did change the world.
