July 4, 1776
This day is important I'm sure you've heard,
It's the day we ended a lot of our conflicts.
It's the day we realised being ruled by the king was absurd.
It's the day a group of men got together
Never had I ever imagined a summer to be quite like that.
The feeling of love and loss and freedom all tangled up in one.
We were isolated in a place that was never isolated.
Spread my wings and
Fly above it all
To be able to
Stand on my own
And pray to
Rejoice that I am
Me
The best me I could ever be, the
Best timing where
A Women of All Odds
Please pay no attention to the women behind those books
Intelligence is over-rated; twerking is all the new rage
It doesn't matter my height,I have to look up to you.
I was born with no choiceAs a woman.
