Poetry This words means many things. Then again it can mean nothing. But for me it has transcended me down an alleyway. That has stripped me of my rough edges. Grim looking face. Plush exterior.
My voice is quiet But my mind is full of thoughts Thoughts of you, strange right?
I don’t understand why you can’t see Sometimes I need to do things for me Not for you or for your family Just me me me me! It’s not selfish to work on myself I have to admit, that sometimes I need some help
Counselor: How bout we start by you telling be about yourself ME:  *sigh* So where do it start?
Everyday I see thousands of faces surround me, Constantly searching for what to be. They do not care who they hurt along the way.
Nobody understands me. Not my momma, my brother, my boyfriend, my sister, my auntie, my cousin, my best friend. They just don't get it. They are oh so proud of me, but they don't understand.
I feel like I’m drowning In a sea of people, Whose thoughts and ideas Overpower mine.   I’m just one person With thoughts and ideas that seem far too alien, too simplistic.
