Experience Is Key

Is leaving the classroom too much to ask?
I want to go beyond these barriers.
Beyond this school
And experience the world in its raw form.
What is the brain but a door to our souls?A door I've unlocked but a door
Childhood is a gift,
But it can no longer be called the present.
It is a distant memory
It's hard to balance
A broken family
And a lack of talent.
And the half-hearted education
Gives me no motivation
Without an allowance
My future rests
Waiting for some rich kid to take it.
What do we do at the end of the dayWhen summer begins and school is endingWhen joy is done and joy begins
What do I want to see changed in schools? The number of things students feel they have to hide. If an environment is developed where students feel safe and able to express themselves to adults, many lives can be changed for the better.
You see the discrimination.You see all the hurting eyes and the crying faces.You just stand there as they suffer. And I, a third party, am just as guilty. Insults sting like gunshots to the legs,and she takes the blows. Words hold no power.The gun
