Deep in my mind
Imagination was born,
Constricted in bind
My imagination had torn.
The walls that had lied,
That constricted my life
Are no longer alive.
Now that I'm free
I used to be here,
Didn't we all.
History shows,
Powerful nations,
Always fall.
But we never worry,
Never show fear.
Just shake our fists,
And drink a beer.
No! Don't cry,
to compare it
to the first steps of a young calf
doesn't do it justice.
to say it's like the first flight
of an eaglet,
petrifying and liberating,
doesn't begin to describe it.
