Yes, I was excited
to go to a new school
I was ready to move on
to move past high school
and meet new people
A roommate, how fun I thought
(but) by the end I would be distraught
There is a man of in(decision)
Or not that it is that
He is a man with (one) vision
He has but one goal
He is always decent on the (test)
My roommate moved out today.
They decided to leave most of their things behind.
Nothing was of much importance though,
Well, except for their pillow.
I put that away in that closet I never use.
Did you peep the date?
Too bad your birthday couldn’t come a day late!
Today is the nineteenth of April, you see,
But 4/20 doesn’t seem like your cup of tea.
However, I’m excited to share,
Like a dancer,
She skips, twirls, leaps
A ribbon of happiness
Trailing from her toes
As they brush the pavement
Im sorry sir!
You probably dont care
for the reason that I stare
with a greater purpose to be here.
With an education at my feet
you'd think i'd be more aware.
