one of the infinite stars
take over the sky
and let's make it ours
and when you feel lonely
sitting still in the dark
look up at me
and feel warmth in your heart
Ours is an untamed love
Fearsome
Crashing like the waves on the shore
Destructive
Our love is the wings of a dove
Uplifting
Pulling taut each heart string
Unbreakable
Our breath mingles
my mind spins
my heart races
a rush of endorphins
gets me elated
as our lips meet
as our limbs entwine
as you hold me
every inch that comes between us
“Anything war can do, peace can do better.”
Then why have we been stuck in this war forever?
A war against each other, a war against ourselves.
