When I tell my friends
my girlfriend and I are moving in together
only three months into our relationship,
they start telling me
God has answered. Or has he left more mysteries for me to solve. A faith designed for structure. But it’s a name that doesn’t fit, because I don’t believe he exists.
An unplanned gathering,
Turned into a landmark event.
Ocean waves become steady heartbeats.
Lost in the land of backpacks, bullying, and excuses
I just can't take it any more, I'm a complex thinker in a simple, close-minded land

Open your heart.
Let your soul loose.
Breathe in, breathe out.
You are here. You are present.
You've never been more alive than now.
You are here. You are present.
Call me a hippie
Call me a raggamuffin
Call me a bum
Call me a tree hugger
Call me a drifter
But never call me, me?
Ok.
I'll call you a human
Call you a friend
Call you a sister,
