Mother Nature

Forever crow another one

Chips and chirps of unseen ones

The voices I once heard begin to fade

As the voices die down

Mother nature begins to speak

Her whispering soul flows through the trees

as her luscious green leaves descend

Her critters scurry from their homes to

the creaking falling branches

Sunlight gleams onto fallen pines

Nature lets out her woodsy perfume

as a welcoming gift to those whom seek her

The bracket fungi wraps itself against her

splintering bark as the shade of white bounces through the darkest shade there may be

As I depart from her home I watch

as the leaves flow with the wind without leaving

their homes

As the critters run but stay close to see

The closer I am mothers nature

voice begins to die by the familiar voices I once heard.
