We don't learn math.
We don't learn English.
Kids learn truth these days.
Because kids don't go to school these days.
We go to empty parking lots, innocent and free.

I'm different and I don't care
People may like me
Or they may not
But either way I'm going to shine
Again and again I'll show myself

My words are important-
Choices shape the youth.
It might be the choice to not drink and drive,
and to see your best friend of 12 years dead in the seat next to you.
It might be the choice not to try a drug,
and disappoint your parents.
