An untold story finds itself, dusty
That childhood story you once knew
Peeking out on the shelf
Holding Brother's Grimm Tales of the Billy Goats Gruff
And Cinderella
The door finally closes, another day spent,
Another act finished, but I’m not content.
I look in the mirror, stare into my eyes –
Were they fooled today by my act, my disguise?
Bewitchingly beautiful
With luscious red lips,
A waterfall of gold curls,
and eyes the color of a chameleon
There was a time
when innocence was my first name.
I was worry free and had so much
to look forward to.
Little did I know that when
I met you, my whole world was about to change.
You taught me so much,
