this is the day
the one single day
on its own its not much
but maybe thats the point
it doesn't have to be much
I mean we don't remember days
we remember moments
and not every moment either
On the day of July 20, 1969
A fateful man changed the outlook of mankind
The first steps he recorded in outer space
Captivated and astonished the entire human race
Now as I look up at the moon and the stars
I am different.
Not in visage, nor style, nor walk,
Not in avocation, nor mannerism, nor talk,
But in hope and dream and state of mind.
I am different

The radioactive waves of lies
Why you save a world you hated?
To people that used and abused you
Said that what you were feeling was wrong, but they never knew you
Took your kinds words for weakness
Disrespected your soul
America the Brave,
but there's children outside who need to be saved.
Using talent's for change, but yet no change.
America the Brave, this superior country.
Our education system has got to do better.
I know nothing is perfect, but we can not go on like this forever.
Kids using profanity instead of the intellect God gave them.
