To my future son,
Bringing you here is a challenge you see, not physically or financially but mentally.
This should not be a part of my worries but you know it’s racism and police brutality.

Does his fist uncoil for the hand he dreams of or does his chilled heart melt away because of the fire within her eyes?
Black, Buried, Brutal.
i am a black male.
Buried underneath stereotypic lies.
Should I speak? or has everything been said.
I am a black boy.
Buried by my melanin
self conscience of my skin
Black man,
I see the sulk in your eyes,
The wrinkles, the bags of countless years of work,
Trying to race ahead through the obstacles,
Dear Stereotypes,

Black bear, black bear scary as can be.
I look in the mirror what do they see?
Black Men, Black Men
Why do they bring you so much harm?
With all the brutal beatings and unlawful misconduct while you are unarmed?
Do they not care that you have great potential for life?

He said he likes them Spanish types, them mixed chick types, them white girl types, them "exotic" types.

And setting examples for our sons and daughters
Lets treat not only yourselves but women with respect
So the youth can grow up, think, and reflect
