If only you knew what’s going on in my mind
If only you could see
The shadows that chase me
Through my mind
All my regrets
Swirling round and round
Haunting me more than a ghost
"Hey.. are you okay?
I see the smiles that you fake
The hurt as you turn away
When you bite your lip and pray
Wish they'd tell you it's okay But nothing seems to stay
When the world only sees mistakes
Love comes and goes
Just like the sea shore going back and forth.
It fills our heart up with joy
then it tries to kills us,
Just like the cold kills the trees.
Yet we find love everywhere, look around.
