My parents used to rush to me when I scraped my knee
When I said I had an “ouchy”
They used to worry about me
So much so that they could not sleep
All my life I've been told "grow up."
But what does that mean?
Is it when you rely on yourself solely?
No family, no friends?
Is it when they stop calling you a cry baby?
