I wasn’t really dying but the stomach aches and the constant need for water the constant thirst left me dry and sickly.   Hospitals and ambulance rides and needles
Type 1 Diabetes has ruled my life for almost 3 years now.  Every moment, thought, and dream revolves around what my condition will allow. At first, I fought against it all day. 
Poetry was never my thing.  It was neat, but I would rather have been swimming. On one fateful day, I heard something I never thought I would hear.
