Was the slogan so commonly seen
The implications of that slogan
Are not commonly thought about
Oh, say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free
And the home of the brave?
Oh, say, do the people of the nation still pray
For peace and for justice,

Disparity in the faces of millions bow in shame
The red, white, blue flag contains holes which freedom can’t transcend
A nation of immigrants brought culture and economy
