Dear White America,
You are not so endearing.
I bear the thorned cross of an ethnic name,
burdened with baggage instituted,
from bloodened roots that cultivated this soil.
White American Academia,
America the Great,
America the White,
A motherland ran in spite.
Freedom upon freedom offered to those
Of which the ignorant few had chose.
Star-spangled blessings for those who live in hate,
