I see the melancholy in your eyes,
You may be smiling, but in your eyes
The pain in your past still haunts you.
It’s something so dark,
Enchanting and hard to remark
From the beginning to the end,
Not even the brightest of humans will comprehend.

Sung with the dullest spark
I'll stop loving you when the diamonds no longer sparkle
and the fire doesn't burn
And the water doesn't freeze when the temperature is low
