Sweet child, within you, sparrows sing blooms Each day like protocoled steps will lead you  Down Heaven’s aisle of tapping awe and cool
I used to dream in the world in my head, let my imagination take flight as the buildings went by.   I could dream up wild elephants from Africa, or starships from space 
Dear Childhood, I miss when I was with you- Wide eyed and innocent, ready to conquer the world with my imagination as my partner and the rocket ship I was sure to have once
The market, they all want brilliant hues and will pay price high for your soul. 
There is a dark place in my mind it gets smaller all the time. Days go by, and I think: Maybe, someday far away that place will grow again.    But then I see a stranger smile.
