The third and last poem in my final project assigned under the ELA 12 poetry unit. Dated 10/22/2019  
  I stand in front of the ivory-rimmed mirror Wrapped in a towel, water dripping from my hair I drop the towel and look at my skinny self Not enough – Not clear enough skin, not bright enough eyes
Drawing eyes is like creating my audience. My audience that so generously criticizes every one of my moves. My audience that doesn't dare to train their gaze off me.
