The gasp of his breath
The twitch of his feet
The beat of his heart
It's all slowing
It's all coming to an end
This is it
He's almost gone
And that's the end.
Oh Peggy, you've tried,
You did the best you could,
Now you are with Twinkle,
In heaven as it should.
You were mom's favorite,
Out of Bip, Boots, and Bell,
You are happy up there,

Your feet whispering on the carpet
Treading softly so that you didn’t wake anyone

I never wanted to miss a moment with you
