It was late out. I couldn't stay for long.
This place was getting to me. They made it out to be nice. They talked it up so much.
How could I have trusted them with such a lie? I believed their mistruths! I couldn't stop myself.
I am lifeless.
A heart without a beat.
A body without a soul.
A face without a smile.
Ripped of my innocence and left with the empty shell of who I used to be.
Your lies are bigger than your fears
The voice of your heart which you can't hear
Secrets were never meant to be kept
But now your soul is trapped
Within this uncompromising maze,
the faceless men in white suits
force you to stumble along
the path from point A to B.
Tall white walls confiscate creativity
and slowly strangle the unsuspecting
A lifetime
a gun filled with pain,
aimed at my heart
my lifetime began when yours ended,
lifetime of pain,
lifetime of wickedness
lifetime of lies and mischief,
Android
Etymologically speaking, a human-like device
Metaphorically speaking, how you look in my eyes
Ice-cold and lifeless with a human form
The cause of my pain and why I'm forlorn
Immersed in his rest,
So buried within the dream,
He couldn't clasp the enkindling air approaching his door.
