The world is but a circus,
It's people are just clowns,
I am a conducter,
I can't do much with clowns,
But if you come and play my tune,
We might just turn this world around.
If I could, I'd be a clown
And laugh at people all day.
No matter how bad, never to frown,
To get up and go my own way.
Those other souls,
Whose lives have been all pain,
When I'm feeling down
t turn to my friends, who are clowns,
and they help me turn back around
One thing that makes each day worth a smile
Is talking to you
You're the only one who could ever understand
What it's like to walk a mile in my shoes
You're a knight in shning armor
Walking down the hall
The eyes staring me down
I can’t let them see,
You see the Iron Empress
Who standing tall, stoic, regal.
She hides the Carefree Clown
Who could entertain for hours.
She hides the Lovesick Maid
Blinded by love unrequited.
I wake up at Midnight and the Moon is full.
No one else is awake, they're sleeping like the dead.
But there's a horrible throbbing in my skull,
and when I look in the mirror: my nose is red!
Mister, Mister hear all about it!
We come to your class every single day
Just to hear you say...NOTHING!
You look at us like we're circus clowns,
and continue to just tear us down.
We tell you we don't understand,
