I slept hard as a bear
That eats so much food in a dark cave,
What no one notices all the time,
My ears can hear, but I have weary tears;
Beyond the walls, there is so much fear,
Remember when you broke your right hip?
It came as a shock to me.
There you were, the picture of health,
And only eighty three.
Of course, you were most disgruntled.
Blindfolded, we enter the world.
Eighteen years with only the wisdom of our parents
On our back,
Lacking that which education had promised.
Has promised.
On our future coffee tables lie
Blindfolded, we enter the world.
Eighteen years with only the wisdom of our parents
On our back,
Lacking that which education had promised.
Has promised.
On our future coffee tables lie
every time you pay me mind
i think i'll find
a new light in your eyes
and every time you brush by
i think you might
decide to hold me tight
but every time i think i'm right
you kindly remind
I was a latent volcano with lust to erupt
only I didn’t know it, the sides of my mouth
curling upwards in grotesque clown grins
There's a coursing river coming right at you
no dams or cares that's a fact.
But I hope you know something,
this honesty isn't fantasy.
I'm not a funny page,
I'm imbuing knowledge
