Poems from fireflystorm
I've been writing for a while. I'm genderfluid, an atheist, liberal, pro-feminism, pro-choice, pro-philosophy.
he was pretty
like every wild blossom
i could pick him
and see nothing of wilting life
in wild pretty eyes
but he whispered in my ears...
a pair of bright green lying eyes
mixed with scarlet red hair
scan the city back-streets and
the things you might find there.
poetry...
this house is like an empty shaft,
a cocoon when the butterfly has left.
i am waiting, staring at the floor.
[did anyone ever live here...
somewhere in the distance
a clock stops ticking because
you haven't replaced the batteries
in a very long time.
and then the comfort of...
at home we're welcomed with open arms
brought back to its familiar charms.
doors are open to everyone,
at least until each day is done...
