Poems from SuperWoman20

I am a Sophomore at Miami Dade College. I love the beautiful outdoors, baby animals are so adorable. And writing for me is a gateway to letting out my frustrations, joys and happiness in life. Granted, I'm not much of a poet I find this could be a great outlet for me. It's been a wonderful year and college experience. I hope and wish I learn more about the beautiful world around me.
I don't want devastating love
So forget Olivia Pope and her definition of love
I want simple, genuine, unadulterated love
I want my love...
I am a spicy fabric!
I do not stick to the skin
I do not sweat
And who are you to say I am a ditz to
be amazed at life’s simple pleasures...
Hugs are weird
Hugs are strange
I do not want a hug
No, no not now or later.
The thought of someone engulfing part of their body around...
Look at those girls in the magazine!
My momma said I ain't meant to look like them
-cause I'm not them.
She said, why can't you look...
Ew, you stink! Go away
Take a bath, wear deodorant.
Sweat, drip, drip down pouring.
I cannot help it.
Clammy hands and buckled knees....
