Tugging at her heart
She’s flotsam and lost things
Drifting further and further apart
She listens to the voices of her...
I’ll thank the ones who tried to stay,
Through sleepless nights and irrational fears.
I hope they make it through the day
And don’t lose...
Dig my grave in the ground
In the warmth of day
Settle me in my burial mound
And let my bones decay
Reveal my life unbound
To put my heart...
I can’t make the final leap
Every time I go to take the last step
You drag me back
To go toe-to-toe again
One more round in the ring
I tap...
